The day of Thanksgiving has arrived and I hope you get to spend it with those you love.
This year my Thanksgiving is being spent in Salzburg, Austria and it's a cold wintry wonder land. The Christmas markets are all bustling having opened yesterday, and the gluh wein is warm and delicious as I wander the stall. This afternoon I'll be enjoying some Lebkuchen with my coffee.
The markets are definitely worth seeing and exploring. The good news is if you can find them in most every city and town in Europe starting the Friday before the start of advent. There are so many ways to discover these markets, whether by river cruise, gliding from town to town, or doing a self-drive or a tour. However you decide to see them, definitely make it a must do. They are just fun!

I continue to get requests and referrals for fantastic trips. I so appreciate your sending people my way. I absolutely love booking and managing travel. Currently on my desk are a stack of great trips - some South African safari's, Brazil and Peru, more Greece, a few European river cruises, lots of Italy, Spain, and Portugal, and of course ocean cruises.
HINT: Now is the time to book any trips you are looking at for January - April 2025. Winter ski season has begun and Spring Break is filling up, particularly in the hot spots. A lot of people waited to see what this next year would bring and now they are booking those trips they were holding.
